  • The August Chapter Meeting is a breakfast meeting, starting at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 18 at the Columbus Renaissance.  A timely topic, "Health Care Reform - What Will it Really Cost Your Firm?" will be presented by Char Sutak of Willis of Ohio.  Thanks to our Platinum Business Partner LexisNexis, who will be sponsoring the meeting, there will be no charge to our members to attend.  Please RSVP to Doyle Rausch at drausch@ssd.com by Friday, August 13, if you can join us.
  • The September ALA Webinar, "Electronic Records Management: How to Manage your ESI in the 21st Century," will be paid for by the Columbus Chapter and hosted by Schottenstein, Zox & Dunn.  The webinar will take place on Wednesday, September 15 at 2:00 p.m.  RSVP to Tim Eckenrode at tim@szd.com if you would like to attend.
  • Our annual Member/Business Partner Golf Outing will take place on Thursday, September 23, with box lunches at 11:00 a.m. and a shotgun start at noon.  Golf experience is definitely not a prerequisite.  See, the enclosed registration form to sign up or e-mail Rob Sander at rsander@wileslaw.com with any questions.
  • October is ALA Community Service month.  One of our activities will again be preparing and serving dinner at the YWCA Family Center.  More information can be found on page 15 of the newsletter.  E-mail Janie Jude-Askew at jjude-askew@lblaw.net if you will be able to help.
